Welcome to the Public Value wiki!

This Wiki is maintained by Fred Garnett & Nigel Ecclesfield to build on their work on e-learning & Public Value.

We will provide our Paper on Public Value and e-learning for reference; as delivered to eLit 2006

http://www.lboro.ac.uk/library/eLit2006/

We will add comments on how we understand that Public Value might be delivered by an NDPB

We will put a proposition to the eLit organisers as to how to develop Public Value with the eLit community. (This proposition has been put and a discussion around a number of propositions has been started - please go to e-literacy to link to that wiki.

Nigel has added a page on Co-production citing the Joseph Rowntree Foundation publication recently published for the New Economics Foundation.

Another page has been added e-literacy, which points to a new wiki to explore the issues raised at "e-Lit 2006".

To provide some background to discussions on co-production, in the UK I have added a new page called Co-production Resources and will add to this periodically. This is not a systematic bibliography, but I hope it provides a useful launch pad to help bring an education perspective into these discussions. There is not much there yet! Nigel

A page has been added to link with Ian Harford's work and his book Digital Nations in the Making - useful links to debates on policy and practice in community education, including comment sections.

Another page Resources has been added, this will be fully active from 15th December 2006.
